I met REMI ROY!!!

Saturday, November 9, 2019 will be a day to remember because I met a fellow author whom I’ve admired for about 9-10 years for her inspirational writings on her blog: the very Remi Roy, author of Ms. Unlikely!

So how did this meeting happen, you’re probably wondering. Well, I’d accidentally stumbled upon information online that she’d written a new book, and that she would be having a book launch right here in the Dallas Fort Worth area. The new book? It’s titled THIS IS ME! And it is a journal for creative reflection.

Well, I knew I had to attend, so I bundled my crew: my kids, and off we drove to Freedom Church to attend a book launch that was packed to the brim. And what a blessing that meeting was. Remi and her guest speakers talked about purpose, and how it was okay that one went through certain experiences that made one doubt what that purpose was, because ultimately, God’s purpose would be discovered even in the midst of our confusion and chaos and life changes.
