I’m grateful for reviewers like Adura Ojo…and no, it’s not because they give you positive reviews( although that would be nice, too), rather, they give the constructive (did you hear me say ‘constructive’) feedback that a writer can use to hone their craft. I was really lucky to have her review The Officer’s Bride at such short notice, and now that her review is in (which was generally positive by the way), I’ll be sure to use her feedback as a guide for future writings. The link to her review is below! Thanks Adura!
This is well thoughful and very interesting book…it’s title is fascinating. I commend the author Lara Daniels and congratulate her for a job well done. So proud of such an african writer. She provides insight into the tyranical and brutal reign of the Nigerian military dictator and how the situation in the country could be tempting and hard for keeping promises….the book is proverbial; it presents the life of the officer in relation to the bride in friendly and romantic life…
Thank you so much!!!
