So I got knocked up again and now have a new baby. It’s okay though because this baby is a fulfillment to a dream come true.
Seven years ago, hubby and I had this very crazy dream, that someday both of us would be working side by side in a place of business …preferably one that we owned. Early this year, that dream came true when we birthed Latter Glory House -an Assisted Living Facility (or what some would simply call a mini-nursing home).
So yay, I’m once again a proud mama.
Like all babies, latter glory house or LGH as my hubby and my kids like to call her is one demanding baby. A true diva. Seriously, it always feels now that my desk is never free of paper clutter…that’s what she does to me. She needs even more attention than my other three kids combined. So guess what? I’m busier than I’ve ever been in my life and to keep my sanity going, I’ve decided to put on hold my blogging activities for a while, at least, until this baby is grown enough to start eating real African food like pounded yam and edikaikong. The writing continues (how does one pack up that kind of addiction) ….but it’ll be done in my private moments as I don’t think I can handle sibling rivalry between LGH and Lara Daniels, abeg.
I haven’t forgotten my stories, especially my “Forever and a Day” series which, thankfully, I finally completed when LGH and the kids were sleeping soundly after a nice warm bath and a Barney show. I’ve scheduled them to automatically post every week on this site, next installment posts today so make sure you are subscribed to this site to keep recieving them. I look forward to you enjoying them .
Until my next knock up, or when LGH starts eating solids (whichever one comes first) you have an awesome time dreaming and making all of your dreams come true 🙂
Well done ma’am! and Congratulations on LGH! All the best!
