Was just recently tagged by “Loud Thots” blogger Teju Atanda-Ajimotokan for the lovely blog award. After all my ‘hysterics’ over me not being a good blogger, I guess with this award, I am now officially one. So I welcome myself officially to Blogger’s world and want to say thank you to Loud Thots who tagged me as well – and to all the visitors/subscribers to this site. God bless you all for all your encouraging comments/feedbacks and critiques.
Okay, so I was told that these rules apply when it comes to this award:
-
Link back to the blogger who gave you the award;
-
Write Seven things about myself ;
-
Tag fifteen other bloggers I have recently discovered and pass the award to them; and
-
Notify the bloggers that I have tagged
Okay, here are seven things about me:
1. My best assignment so far on Earth: being a mom to my three kids and a wife to my best friend, who incidentally happens to be my husband.
2. I still can’t type “their” correctly. I keep typing “Thier”. Oh dear!
3. The last time I checked, my parents remain my heroes! I don’t think it’s going to change anytime soon.
4. I continue to have a wild imagination; hence, I write (LOL)
5. I’m still waiting on that trip to visit my dream country, South Africa.
6. One more country I’d like to visit ( probably for a second honeymoon) is Jerusalem. So if you’ve got cheap air tickets, please give me a shout.
7. If I can’t have my doughnuts and black coffee for breakfast, I’ll settle for Cassava flakes….just make sure you make me fresh okra soup.
So the following sites I visit and love so dearly are tagged herewith (LOL):
3. Jolly notes
4. Femme Lounge
5. Histiara
8. My life’s moments and Realities
10. Bukville
11. Belinda Otas
12. Anoda Phase
14. Secret Lillies…. And finally finally (drum roll please)
15. Loud Thots!
Meanwhile, I have some good news for readers of “For Wale Taylor”….it’s now a weekly publication. Yay!!! No more anxiety for readers….Yay!!! You can catch up on the part 4 right here. Love you guys much…YOU ROCK!
Congrats on your award and thank you so much for the shout out. You would eat Garri and soup for breakfast? And I love that your parents are your heroes, 🙂
Wale Taylor is now weekly? YOU rock! LOL…
Awww…thanks Myne. I know you’ve been awarded this several times, but I just wanted to let you know that your blog is really worth the lovely award 10 times over especially for all the hard work you do.
I am not surprised that you got the award – more to come. Once in a blue moon, my wife and I also eat eba and okra plus egusi for breakfast. It is probably Tofunmi’s best food – never seen a more Nigerian 3-year old Canadian. We had our honeymoon in South Africa and I also want to visit Jerusalem soon.
I feel honored that you would mention my blog. Thank you Bunmi.
Thanks Tolu…You should know I’ll mention your blog…where else will I get my Blog “word” for the day? 🙂
I love Eba so well , I eat it at very odd hours like 8am or 11.30 pm , how i just love it.
i love this, sister mi.
Thanks Tolu. We are just two peas in a pod, eh? thanks for being you… God bless!
Thanks for the award, Lara. I appreciate it. This is my first time on your blog and I love it. I’ll be back again and again as I can’t wait catch up on your books.
I love your number 1 and 3. 5, I’ve been to S.A a few times. It’s really cool. And for 5, we’re so alike. 🙂
Once in a while I don’t mind eba but I love pounded yam anytime.
Lovely list and it was nice knowing more about you.
You’ve been to S.A several times? Cool! ‘Hope I get to say that soon. I love Pounded yam too…but it had better be pounded and not the powder one…It’s got to be original :).. thanks for visiting MOH…it’ll be nice to have you here again and again (LOL).
Thanks for the drum roll!
I love ur Item. 1.
I feel you on Items. 2 and 3.
On Item 5, same with me oh….
On Item 6, at least you have been there once, please! allow those of us that have not been to go for anniversary.
Garri and Okra in the morning is weird!!!
Sis, you simply rock!!!
PS: I AM ENJOYING THE SERIES ON “WALE TAYLOR” OH!!!
Teju, eating garri/okra is simply sick…Tell me about it. But I guess that ‘s my own twisted trait – everyone is entitled to atleast one. I’m glad you are enjoying “For Wale Taylor”..I enjoyed writing it too :). thanks for tagging me once again. Blessings.
